Our Board
Madison de la Roza is a 4th year student at Bishop Moore Catholic High School. She is a member of the National Honors Society that recognizes those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. She is also a member of several student lead organizations including Crafts of Mercy, Hippocratic Society, and the Art Club. She was a member of the Homecoming Committee and appointed to the leadership committee to help incoming freshman acclimate to high school. She is a member of the Varsity Flag Football team where she plays the position of Quarterback. Madison is also an active volunteer at St. Margret Mary Catholic School, where she is a coach for girls youth flag football and a volunteer to the Girl Scout Daisy Troop.
Caroline Johnson is a doctoral-prepared pediatric acute care nurse practitioner. She has spent the majority of her clinical career in the pediatric cardiac intensive care setting. She joined Vocera (now a part of Stryker) in 2022 as a full-time client success advisor for Ease in Styker’s medicial divison.
Ease is a medical messaging app that allows clinicians to send updates on the status of patients via texts, photos, and videos. Caroline supports Stryker’s Ease clients by driving employee engagement with the goal of improving communication within healthcare and increasing patient satisfaction.
Caroline is board-certified by the PNCB with additional certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, and PFCCS.
Kate Porter is an accomplished business strategy and marketing executive with a career spanning health care, airline and real estate industries. Kate served as the Manager of Branding and Marketing for Advent Health for Children, launching the hospital in Central Florida in partnership with the Walt Disney Company. She’s also served as a marketing leader at American Airlines for 10 years, primarily as Head of International Marketing responsible for branding and revenue generation in more than 140 countries. Kate recently opened up her own design firm and is working as both a real estate professional and interior designer. Kate has over 20 years of marketing and strategy experience and is a graduate of both the University of Florida and the Crummer Graduate School of Business.
Mr. de la Roza is an entrepreneurially minded CEO with a proven record of excellence. He has exited multiple companies to publicly traded organizations. He was SVP, Innovation & Patient Solutions at Vocera (NYSE:VCRA) at the time of their acquisition by Fortune 500 company Stryker (NYSE:SYK) in 2022. Mr. de la Roza was responsible for providing executive oversight for a portfolio of solutions focused on creating improved hospital experiences for patients and families. Passionate about tech entrepreneurship and building team culture, Mr. de la Roza is driven by the discovery of new, innovative products and services that improve the lives of people. He has built his career by creating an environment of loyal, competitive and hard working teams collectively exceeding goals.
